Due to the large number of damaged parts of the bridge body, involving the bridge deck, bridge and load-bearing aspects, the process is very complicated. It is currently divided into three stages to gradually complete the repair.
The first stage
Close the traffic, and all vehicles are prohibited from passing the main lane. Construction of the upper part of the bridge: dismantling the bridge deck pavement, construction of the bridge deck concrete pavement layer and expansion joints. Paste carbon fiber strips and carbon fiber on the outer web of the beam body, close structural cracks, and repair concrete defects.
The second stage
Open the main lane to traffic, allowing small vehicles to pass, and prohibiting trucks and large buses from passing. Construction of new bridge piers at the bottom of the bridge.
Phase 3
Traffic is closed and all vehicles are prohibited from passing through the main lane. Construction of pile foundation at the bottom of the bridge is completed, and construction of new middle cross beam and asphalt concrete paving of bridge deck is carried out. After completion, traffic is fully opened.
